Main Purpose of This Site
freecheapsite.com was setup on 11-Nov-2006. The purpose of this site is to be a free information provider. It wants to be an easily searchable site for free software group and free information provider for tourists / travellers to Penang.

freecheapsite.com now has 2 more 'sister' sites. freecheapsite.net will be a sort of a 'mirror' site which will have all the pages that have advertisements in freecheapsite.com just in case freecheapsite.com server was down. I do not intent to duplicate the content 100% but I will make sure the advertisements are there. Important info like contacts, places of interest, accommodation, transportation, food and culture will be there.

The other sister site might be removed for another new site. In the near future, this site and its sister sites will have an area for members (FOC) to share information on travel. So look out.
Objective

  2. Help Promote Penang and Malaysia as a Tourist Destination
  3. Be an Advertising Site in Internet
  4. Sell softwares and provide internet services through its sister site. (In a distance future)
 A little about its people
At present, I am the only author providing contents to this site.

I am Ms. Ong Ying Ying, born in Penang, Malaysia. My pen name is YYOng. This site is built at leisure during my free time. 2009 Oct : Installed a few systems into my new computer. After 5 years living without MS Windows, I got both Xp upgradable to Vista for this computer. This is important for updating myself on MS Windows and testing. Anyway, I have become a loyal Linux user now.

Now, May-2010, I am a probational tour guide. I will be available as a full time tour guide and tour leader. This will also give me more time to look for potential advertisers. I have decided to open this site for advertisements earlier than I wanted to help improve the usefulness of this site.
