Penang Lok Lok (Chinese)
Lok Lok is actually a method of cooking the food to eat. Thin stick is poke through the food like for barbecue. The food is then dipped into boiling water to cook for a short while. When cooked, it is eaten with sauce for lok lok which is mostly 'hot' (chili hot) with grinded nuts.
What do we have for lok lok? Pork meat balls, fish balls, prawn balls, cuttlefish balls, prawns, cuttlefish with 'eng chai', crockles, crab stick, wanthan, sausage and some other food.
The price of one stick depends on the food. It ranges from about RM0.70 to RM1.20.
