Penang Rojak (Chinese)
Rojak is supposed to be a mixed fruit food. The ingredients inside rojak are cucumber, mangkuang, jambu batu, jambu, mango aand pineapple. Some stalls may add harden yu cha koay and / or cuttlefish. The sauce used is mixed using prawn paste, black sauce paste and chili paste. This sauce must be thick so that when it is mixed with those fruits, the sauce would not be too thin / liquid. 
One small bowl is about RM3.00. This food is more of a dessert than main course. Therefore, it is seldom found in coffee shops. It is usually sold by road-sides stalls with motorbike. |
